ReplyHey vs RedShip
Same philosophy, different arithmetic: RedShip sells you a quota, ReplyHey sells you a plan.
RedShip details read from their site in August 2026. Pricing moves — check theirs before you decide.
What RedShip is
RedShip watches Reddit posts and comments sitewide against your keywords, reads your website to work out which keywords matter, and scores what it finds so only the conversations worth your time reach your inbox. It also tracks competitor mentions to catch people looking to switch, surfaces Reddit threads ranking on Google each week, and monitors whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini mention your product. Founder is $29/month for one website, ten keywords, three competitors and one seat; Company is $49/month for three websites, thirty keywords, ten competitors and three seats.
They are firm about not posting for you — "the reply, always yours" — which we agree with completely, for the same reason: the moment a comment reads like a bot wrote it, the channel is dead and possibly the account with it.
ReplyHey works the same way at the start, from your URL rather than your keyword list, and then differs in what it does with what it finds: a live subreddit rules check that decides between a public reply and a DM, a two-week posting calendar, a feed of threads that explicitly invite promotion, and no caps on websites or keywords at any price.
Where RedShip is better
- AI visibility tracking — whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini name your product. ReplyHey does not do this.
- Explicit competitor mention tracking, with the switching angle built in.
- A weekly digest of Reddit threads that rank in Google for your terms.
- Multiple seats on the higher plan, if a team shares the work.

Where we differ
Whichever you pick: nothing should post to Reddit as you. That is the line the account bans are on.
ReplyHey vs RedShip: questions
Does ReplyHey track whether ChatGPT recommends me?+
No. It works on the input side of that: the Reddit threads the assistants read when they answer "what should I use for X". If measuring the output is what you want, RedShip does that and we do not.
Can I add a second product without upgrading?+
Yes. Unlimited websites is the plan at $24.99/month. Each site gets its own subreddits, keywords, leads, mentions and calendar, and ReplyHey flags it when two of your sites match the same thread.
Do I need to write the keywords myself?+
No. ReplyHey reads your page and derives what you sell, who buys it, the words they use and the subreddits they are in. You can edit all of it afterwards, but you start from something rather than a blank field.
Is either of you going to get my account banned?+
Neither tool posts for you, so the risk is what you paste. ReplyHey’s rules check exists exactly to stop you pasting a promo comment into a sub that bans them.
